This house was built in 2000 and I just moved three years ago and now I realized that my foundation has sinked as 1 inch to the left front .
I wonder if u guys can help me let me know if I can use my insurance claim for repairs since it was caused by tree roots .

The insurance covers the things that are " sudden and unexpected " . Although a tree root causing unexpected collapse is far from sudden. MedlinePlus

So no , you can not complain. You have a case to sue the person who planted the tree if it could be shown that the person knew that the tree could cause such problems .
