I was injured at work, but I don't think my employer has insurance, What should I do?2 집합 가산명사 2012-05-28 06:21:43
I hurt my shoulder a few weeks ago . I work in a small business in Central Florida where I am the only actual employee . I worked there for 9 years and my employer never offered health insurance or other benefits to speak of except for a decent salary . Not sure what to do. I've been unemployed for a few days , not only by the extreme pain in my shoulder, but also because I could not sleep because of it . I know I need to see a doctor , but I live week to week and now there is no way I could afford a medical bill , especially if it be very serious . But .. I'm at the point where they have no choice . My question is this .. I actually like my job and am good at it. If my employer does not have insurance coverage and go to the hospital with the claim of a workman comp .. What will happen ? You can not afford to lose my job over this and I do not want to sue my employer of 9 years either. Any help at all would be appreciated.
