I work in a factory package medication, mostly subscription, but there are some others like Dayquil. Our main products are allergy medications such as Zyrtec. Since I started working there I have been getting very sick lately. Every day I'm there I feel sick to my stomach and really dizzy, I have a sore throat and fatigue, and near the end of the day (after lunch, in the last 2-3 hours a day) starting to sweat and I feel very bad going to faint. My chest hurts right where I have the lungs and every time you cough or laugh it hurts like hell. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus The whole factory is dry as hell, there's like only 2% of moisture there, and the lighting is very dim. We have to take lab coast, hairnets and rubber gloves, none of which help with sweating. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus In addition, there are jobs in which they sit all day, and work where you're a stand all day, depends on what part of a line that is one, and no matter what job I'm doing, I get the same result every day. Most of the time if I'm doing a job I have sat alternate between sitting and standing and I start to fall asleep. MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I get 6-8 hours of sleep each night, eat at least something healthy, not smoking, and I only drink socially on weekends. Wtf is wrong with me then? MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Is it because I have not worked for two and half years, my body is not used to it? Or is it really something to do with the factory? I've noticed that other people get sick there too. Especially in the servants' quarters (which is where working with bulk drugs, the calcareous material as Tylenol, cold and dry in the rooms). MedlinePlus MedlinePlus I have fear going to the doctor because I have fear that I will say that I can not work there anymore because it's bad for my health, and then I'll have to look for a job for another two years: (MedlinePlus MedlinePlus Additionally, you can afford anyway, I'm just a temp, so do not get health insurance at work.
