I'm pretty new to all this , but in my opinion the most problems due to soil expansion due to water entering the foundation , freezing and expanding, etc, so that most problems this type are considered maintenance issues and therefore are not covered, and that theoretically could have been avoided inclined floor of the house.

Insurance and soil ExpansionIt really depends on the type of policy you are carrying. When it comes to buying property insurance, some homeowners are buyers of coverage, while others are price shoppers . If you have an HO3 , all risk policies is likely to have coverage. i you bought an insurance policy cheaper HOA is likely that there is no coverage for the expansion of the soil or the best land movement. It ' s contact your insurance company and ask about their coverage. You may be able to update your policy if you are concerned about the movement of soil and ground or other risks.
