last week when leaving work, both me and my co worker were backing up, and our back bumper hit each other. My left corner bumper hit her right corner bumper but slightly more to the side. The damage to my bumper is just very tiny scratch, but because hers is a few inches more to the side, so it caused a slight indentation, and light scratch marks. (please excuse my poor drawing)

I just had an accident, and the damage to the counterparty's vehicle was $3000.00. Should I pay for this myself or should I file an auto insurance claim? My son is under 25 and was at fault in the collision.
Should I file an auto-insurance claim?0please help(:2012-08-01 00:06:02
Ok, so I just got into an accident. I'm 18. I was switching lanes and hit a car that was in my blind spot. (So it was my fault). It was not a serious collision at all, there's some scratches on my door and a slight dent on the other car's fender. The police did come to the scene, but they a police/accident report was not filed because it was deemed unnecessary for something as minor as this. So, basically, I just ended up exchanging insurance info with the other person. I have insurance, with a $500 deductible. I'm guessing that the damage on the other car will be less than $500 (the car is an 08 Toyota RAV4). Should I call my insurance company and file a claim to have them cover it, or should I try to settle this with the other person without getting the insurance involved? Let's just pretend that the other person will be willing to settle it personally. And if the other person does decide to file an insurance claim against me, does that mean I have to file a claim myself? I'm a bit confused here, haha. Thanks in advance!
Should I file an claim with my auto insurance?0Clenisford J2012-08-02 22:52:03
I haven't had any claims on my auto insurance and I've been with them for 8 years. I backed into a parked car (no body in it) and the estimate to fix it is $2360. My deductible is $500 and there was no damage done to my truck. Should I file a claim or pay out of pocket.
Auto-Insurance Claim - When to file?0nicole g2012-08-26 21:24:16
Do you have to file an auto insurance claim before they fix your car ? Or does it matter? What if the car is in the body shop is fixed , can file the claim , then? And still get it covered ? Can you file a claim after the car is fixed? With their receipts as proof auto shop ?
