I need insurance for my car and progressive is the most affordable . When getting online quote said I was married, I 'm legal, but I did not want my spouse covered , and it will not drive my car. I live in Washington, making it illegal to drive without insurance and my grandparents helped me buy my car to go with me to an agency to purchase a policy. The trick is in my family knows I 'm married . So if I 'm talking to the agent and tells me I'm alone, I will look up and know that I am married?
Why, how and when did car insurance companies start determining rates based on my credit score?1AnOnYmOuS1232012-09-20 19:33:02
I have driven safely for 20 years without an accident or ticket and my cousin paid on time and in full each month. Now , I'm thinking of buying a new car and that the agency wants to check my credit . Well , that's fine and dandy for some fool caught in credit scam with a good result , but I have no credit . The rate I have quoted is astronomical and almost the price of the monthly payment of the whole car . MedlinePlus MedlinePlus When these agencies get to this scam and why the hell does this have to do with my credit card ? The only thing these criminals must face is my driving record and the fact that I paid every month !

What sensible action can be taken to overrule discriminate car insurance rates based on age and gender?1? Small fool 〆2012-07-03 18:39:02
It is and must be well known that all or nearly all, the auto insurance companies have outrageously high rates for male drivers and older drivers . Naturally, these are based on statistics that are most likely quite nice , but still very unfair to charge more , simply because a driver is a certain gender or age. Only this is not in itself a problem, but now the government orders the purchase of insurance, that changes ( or should change ) the state of business to be privately owned. The point is, if you must have it , then the rate should be based on the only person owenership insurance , for example, driving experience, the number of accidents , number of safety car, etc. The same bias is required to say that African Americans are more likely to have an accident than people Caucasion, but would have the opportunity for a 0% stand in any public hearing or court of law. This action may be legal, but is arguably unfair and should not be legal in all circumstances. Discrimination is widespread enough in society , and certainly should not be introduced in business or politics. Unfortunately this question rests on the edge of a diatribe, which is prohibited by the guidelines , so be continued only for a short time. The basic question is simple. When you do something about , by whom, and how. I certainly would challenge the legality of me, and still might in the coming days , but unfortunately my age do not coexist well with my ambition, ability, or will. Therefore, it would be preferable that some other brave people who challenge themselves , which raises the obvious question : How?
