It was not a persecutor who was chasing me down a path of about 5 or 6 feet behind my car . I sped down the anger that you get off , but I saw it accelerate. I figured it was going to start tailgating once again went the speed limit , so that jammed on the brakes and I hit the bumper.

I'm not sure what to do now, because he says he does not " going to do nothing" and not clearly defined. He says he's been in enough accidents and whatever. I'm thinking he thinks he should not, because I jammed on the brakes of anger.

Is it technically guilt and still hit my bumper and should have been able to react in time, or I have nothing because I jammed on the brakes of anger, it was not an emergency stop or something?

I'm thinking about making things easier for us , once we get an estimate from my local auto shop , divide the bill by half since that technically should see how I react . If he still refuses to pay, what should I do ?

No matter what the case is that if a car hits you from behind, automatically your fault. When that happens, you want to call the police immediately, that way you can start an incident report . You can then hire a lawyer and sue the other driver's insurance . I work for a chiropractor, and most of the cases we deal with are car accidents. There is no way you can be guilty for the accident, but was stopped by anger, the driver behind you had no reason to be so close to you . However, as a tip to avoid this type of accident, when someone gates, you must pull to the right and let it go. is probably too late for you to do anything about the accident, especially if you did not receive any of your information. But if you've called the police and hired a lawyer , the driver would have had no choice but to fix the bumper.

Now if there was a police report , you should definitely hire a lawyer just in case you decide to trust that your insurance will pay only without the legal issues , most likely will not pay. Hopefully you get your fixed stop !

I read of a woman getting killed by that maneuver last year. That is considered " road rage " and could collect. It is always better to stop and let a bad pass driver . " Cool " is stopped when blood is spilled . Consider yourself lucky it's just damage to a car , and let it go if he refuses to pay . You were both wrong .. but if not hit the breaks that you might not have hit . , Which could go against both their license and insurance arise . You will be the winner here really have learned something . One of you could have been killed , statistics show .. to 35 miles per hour or less . Nobody wins when one gets on the floor . Each time you start the engine .. for the rest of your life .. remember this. It's forever . Be careful. You are both a love some body .
