I need ideas, besides the obvious eBay craigslist and pawn shops , where to look for them. Police who responded to my call, basically told me it was on me to find everything that you did not know what any of it seemed. Most of the stolen items were jewelry and tools. Most of the jewels were worth - which, literally , little or nothing kind of thing was all sentimental or heirloom . I like it back. Ideas about how to accomplish that ?

Not really unless you have a photo of the things that are stolen ? If so, then you could use that to help demonstrate that it was and to locate some of them. That is why most insurance companies say it's a good idea to take the video stuff in your house so you can try what I had in the case of theft.
