I lost my home in Joplin, MO tornado. It was destroyed , leveled, declined. The Foundation was the only thing , in part. What closing costs to buy or build a new house is considered a " tight" living expenses ? For me, I would say yes to the only factor that normally would not have been in this position if I did not lose my house. Thanks in advance!

If you are rebuilding your home is not closing costs because they already own the property. If you are rebuilding and buying elsewhere then the insurer should be offset by the real value of the lost house / property , which means that the claim is resolved. All expenses incurred by you outside of this insurer is not responsible for what is no longer related to the loss.
