But see American cars without front plates and I know they are not required to be to.Do fined if not too do not you think that's bad?

The rules for the plates are governed by where the vehicle is registered . In the U.S. Some states require the use of front and rear plates , when others do not. States that do not require the two plates do not even give the person registering 2 plates. There are some things you can be marked as having a radar detector in the car if it is illegal in that state. But that is something that can be easily removed. The state in which we live has plates on the front and back, so I personally have never encountered the problem.

Everything depends on the state you live who live in Illinois and we have to put a plate in front and behind our vehicles. I always see cars with no front license plate and defininately could get a fine for that.
