Initially the company may pay only " actual cash value " of equipment , which means that it was worth the time it was stolen ( usually the replacement cost with a deduction for depreciation based on the age and condition) . Then , once they have actually been replaced, to pay the rest until the full replacement cost . Some policies limit the amount not paid by the factory team . If the insurance company says you have to use to replace a particular party , ask them to show that requirement in your policy. If I can, the above applies .
