I've been looking for car insurance and I have been getting quotes online. I see some very good prices. In some places I get an online price different, but when I go to the office to talk in person to obtain a higher amount of what I saw online. Should I buy auto insurance online? Is it better to buy online?

Hmmm, good question ! I think the reason we were receiving lower prices online rather than in person (assuming same company) was that the additional costs they will pay for rent, utilities , salaries , commissions, etc. This is how some companies (for example , USAA , GEICO , etc.) can offer lower rates because they sell mostly by mail, phone or Web. The only drawback I could see is that you can not get the personal service, if you need it ( if you buy online , especially if the company has no offices of the agents as some do as noted above) . For example, if you call a toll free number for something, most likely not going to talk to the same person more than once.

Good luck ! Drive carefully !
