I got in a car accident and the other guy was in a company car. They only gave me a business card. Enough?

I'm in Sacramento , CA, if that helps. The driver refused to give any information about it. A person of his company came and handed me a business card, I got the plate number. I was told that is all you need and the company will handle it . What information should I have received from someone who drives a company car ?

It is not enough at all. If you are insured as well - your insurance agent must have issued with standard forms to fill in the scene. Report as soon as possible maybe going to be able to do something for you. I hope you are not insured through one virtual insurance companies .

Yes it would be sufficient, although it would have been better if you have the name of the driver of the company or of any evidence of the accident. In any case, as long as you the security of their responsibilities, that would be fine .

always ask for license and registration if they refuse to call the police leave the scene of the accident.
