my situation is this , today while driving I was wanting to change to another lane and while I was melting ( even checked my side mirror !) and thought it was safe to combine HOWEVER, a car was behind me and not realize that until he started honking at me and then I realized that there was another car to pass before I could change lanes until I turned my head to see if it was OK , but I think I should have done a complete turnaround existed , of course , I saw the car , I realized I wrote my license plate number , I never had this before so I was hoping someone knows something serious is going to happen ?

Chances are that the driver does not exceed what you like and forget to do anything. But if you do call the police or whatever, just tell your story with honesty and do not get in trouble because the police can not prove he did nothing :)

Actually , I know the police officers who recorded license plate numbers of bad drivers when they are out of service. I know some others who work for the government in different capacities that do the same .

What do the numbers of the plates ? Hehe , I would say, but then have to kill you , LOL . It is mostly people who are driving while talking on cell phones that address . They have a good bit of fun at the expense - and * can * be expensive - from errant drivers . And I approve it .

If I were not talking on a cell phone at the time , and in obedience to traffic laws , and not driving recklessly, I would not worry about that.

and if not to hurt or hit anyone , I do not think you can really do much about it. he made a common mistake , so do not worry too much .

If he is a cop who can write a ticket and mail it to you. He will make your information if you are the owner of the vehicle.

If it's a bad cop you can use the information to try to meet any number of reasons infamous.

Or maybe the partner of a policeman and try to make one of these.

You can find your number plate on this site and someone asks, "How I can find out who this plate belongs to or how I can find that information?
That's one reason there is a privacy law for license plate numbers .
